De leerlingen van de Hoge Kouter in Kortrijk "KOCK"  (Katholiek Orthopedagogisch Centrum Kortrijk) is een Multifunctioneel Functioneel Centrum (MFC), dat dagopvang biedt (schoolvervangend en schoolaanvullend), mobiele en ambulante begeleiding en rechtsteeks toegankelijke hulp (RTH) aan jongeren tussen 12 en 21 jaar met een verstandelijke beperking en eventueel bijkomende problematiek. De vastenactie staat helemaal in het teken van SOLFA, de leerlingen werken rond het thema in de godsdienstlessen en organiseren zwemmarathons, spaaracties enz.
