Team: Dr Ndundu, door SOLFA opgeleid, werkt voor het eerst autonoom het fistelchirurgie-programma af. Nursing: Gonda Martens en Punitha Vandenbempt

 -  13 fisteloperaties afkomstig uit 6 verschillende zones waaronder Sonabata, Nselo, Mbanza Ngungu, Matadi..

-  Dr. Loposo (uroloog uit Kinshasa) heeft de eerste week geassisteerd

-  De patiënten waren probleemvrij op de dag van ons vertrek, met één uitzondering: een jonge patiente met naast een vesico-vaginale fistel ook een rectale fistel. Hiervoor  zal ze in september nog eens geopereerd worden.

-  Communiceren met de patiënten blijft moeilijk: zij komen uit de brousse en spreken geen  Frans. Een woordenboek Frans-Kikongo  (streek Kisantu) blijkt niet te bestaan. We zijn  gestart met het opstellen van een klein woordenboekje.
