Dit is de 4° missie van Prof Dirk De Ridder. De lokale verantwoordelijke van het fistelproject, dokter Jean Ndundu en verpleegkundige Nathalie Ndengila, selecteerden op voorhand reeds de meeste patiënten. De meeste patiënten waren dit jaar afkomstig uit de streek van Kimvula, dat op ongeveer 200 kilometer van Kisantu ligt. Totaal 54 patiënten op de operatielijst waarvan 44 fistelpatienten geopereerd werden
