Team: Chirurgen: Dr Dieter Ost, Dr Gunter Dewin, Dr Jean Ndundu; Nursing: Gonda Martens, Jeanne Leën

27 patienten geopereerd: ze kwamen uit de region Kisantu, Ngdinga, Kwilu-Ngongo, Mbanza-Ngungu Mboko Matadi. Dr Ndundu, de lokale ‘gynaecoloog’ maakt duidelijk progressie in zijn aanpak en chirurgie van fistels; hij kan zelfstandig de meeste fistels aan, enkel in de meest complexe gevallen met destructie van de urethra was onze hulp nog nodig. Dr Dewin heeft Dr Ndundu de hele tijd verder begeleid, en zowel klinisch als chirurgisch technisch is hij in staat om minstens een deel van het fistelprogramma zelfstandig verder te zetten.
