behandeling

fistel-herstelchirurgie is enkel weggelegd voor urologen of gynaecologen met voldoende ervaring met deze pathologie. Goed bedoelde, maar niet vakkundig uitgevoerde ingrepen moeten vermeden worden om de slaagkansen te vergroten. Sommige fistels zijn complex. Een tweede ingreep kan nodig zijn en recidieven zijn niet uitzonderlijk. Een correcte postoperatieve urologische nursing is even belangrijk voor het welslagen van de herstelchirurgie. Deze behandeling is geen urgentiegeneeskunde. We voeren enkel geplande interventies uit bij op voorhand geselecteerde en voorbereide patienten.
